Glacier

Glacier is one of those places where photos will never, ever do it justice. The beauty there cannot be described, it can only be felt. Glacier truly takes your breath away and makes your heart ache. It is extraordinary…and I grew up in one of the most beautiful places in Montana.

We went in August of 2018 [my 3rd time there]. It was a day full of wildfire smoke from neighboring Canada, but still as majestic as ever.

P.S. Most terrifying places I’ve driven: Interstate 5 in Los Angeles and Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park.

My sweet mama with my son and niece.

Thank you to the lovely stranger who captured this memory for us.

Give me wildflowers forever and I will be happy.

Cousins; Childhood best friends.

iPhone photos from this day…

“Mom, what is this thing?!”
